What if you knew that the choices you make during these 68 minutes every single day were one of the strongest predictors of overall health and length of life?

Would you change what you are putting into your body?

Would you want to learn more about how to optimize your nutrition towards a wholesome, longer life?

Welcome to Outrun Gravity’s health and nutrition blog. In today’s day and age, it can be hard to know what proper nutrition looks like. If there was one miracle diet that made everybody look amazing, feel great, and live their fullest life, then we would all be on it! But the truth is, there is no quick fix, or no single diet that can promise us our dream body or a life that is completely free of disease. This blog contains articles written by Registered Dietitian and nutrition expert Cara Adams which will inform and inspire you to best nourish your body so that you can be the best version of you.

Good nutrition goes beyond just calories and protein. Our bodies were created to absorb and utilize nutrients from whole foods. Start with the basics by looking at the types of foods and beverages you eat and drink every single day. Are you setting your body and your health up for success by consuming a variety of whole foods? Whole foods are foods that have been processed or refined as little as possible. Whole foods consist of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, beans and legumes, whole grains, meat, fish, and eggs. The more of these types of foods that end up on your grocery shopping list, the better!
